GAS OPENS ITS FIRST MONOBRAND STORE IN FRANCE

On 5 September, with an inaugural event on Saturday 12, the first GAS monobrand store opened its doors in Marseilles, France’s second most densely populated city, a destination for numerous tourists thanks in part to its strategic position.
Situated at number 64 Rue Saint Ferreol, one of the city’s most prestigious pedestrianized streets where all the top fashion labels can be found, the two-floor 70sq.m. store has been completely renovated in line with the GAS concept, the embodiment of ESSENSUAL, a perfect mix of essentiality and sensuality that sums up the brand’s philosophy.
The settings for the men’s and women’s clothing collections and accessories are clean and functional. Natural materials such as wood, cement, leather, shiny metal, bronze and glass blend harmoniously with innovative materials to form elements with rounded, sinuous lines and surfaces with an iridescent look that recall the double rainbow of the GAS logo. The result is a perfect harmony between the collections, the setting and the GAS “home”, the store, the place where creativity meets the consumer.
This important event kicks off GAS’s new and more efficient approach to the French market, a strategic market in terms of distribution development in Europe and in view of a gradual, rational expansion consistent with the company’s strategies.
